Description
Store honey at room temperature. Honey does not spoil so it is not necessary to store in the refrigerator. Refrigeration will accelerate crystallization of the honey. Crystallization is the natural process in which liquid honey becomes sugar.
If honey crystallizes, place the honey in warm water (with lid removed) and rotate bottle until the sugar crystals dissolve. Be careful not to boil or overheat the honey.
Honey should not be fed to infants less than one year of age. Honey is a safe and wholesome food for older children and adults.
